Yep, I'm going to close these.

The thing is.. I was hoping these forums would become popular central forums for any second life furs, as opposed to mostly yiffthis.com fans, and I think it could have still, but I had no time to market this place and make that happen!

Instead of having this hosted somewhere else and probably without the linchpin content of yt.com stuff & flow of new visitors, watching it sort of fade off.. I decided, I'm going to close them, and save the database in case I ever re-open YT.com or a similar project, and they will start off from where they went offline.. It would be a LOT easier to create energy and a rush of new users at the same time as notifying old users. If that takes place.

As for them closing early... That's just what I've decided, It's too hard to watch a community talk and wait til the close, just getting this part over with. But oh it's a neat feeling to start a community in the first place.. I have a feeling my life will be chock full of this kinda stuff!
Giving in to the RL priorities is tough but necessary. Was really fun guys :)

We have nearly 1000 posts :D This sounds pretty good. That feels like a nice start to a reliably active forum community - I thank you guys for all the help and activity generating I know we've all done.

This forum will likely continue to be active for who knows how long, and like any forum some of the mods and admins eventually change here and there, I want to ask you guys if any of you ever can't continue to watch over the forums here and there or feel new things in your life make you too unavailable, or you just simply want to remove it from your life, please say so! I will -not- hold it against you in any way - a quicker heads up about that will just help me get some new helping paws aboard smoothly.

Your contributions deserve recognition and visibility, as Sangie mentioned, the yiffthis.com team page image could use some updating. When I update that image I will list the current mods and admins as well in the text below!

Just pointing out there's quite a few suspicious usernames registered such as the new one fail1080. They haven't put our 'new member post screening' to use yet tho. I think the way sangie has it set tho we can't get bombed/spammed.

The above Anonymous is 99% sure to be SL Username: Tech Bandalora.
Chatterbox IP of matched the location of St John, Indiana. Same location that the IP of a volunteering email sent by Tech Bandalora had. Looking over sheer coincidence comes from the fact I've had several nagging / jealousy / stalking / and other complaints by other people such as current video stars about this individual:

As well as guilt trips in order to get filmed such as claiming to have terminal illnesses or a birthday which even if true are still guilt trips aimed at me.
Shortly after banning his IP and perma-muting him in the Full-Time Furverts group he left the group of his own volition a month later.

While I don't take this particular individual critically seriously, I can't put pointless violence out of the question (seen plenty of police reports of stupid jealousy assaults w/ deadly weapon) and I should try to be a bit more mindful at conventions when I wear the Cresil name of who is around me as I have what could be his RL picture, at least what was in his SL profile.

The forum's agenda

Before we open the forum I want to shape it a bit more to reflect a forum that is a bit less of a Yiffthis.com exclusive forum - for the same reason I named the official group for the site Full-time Furverts instead of directly titled Yiffthis or something, so it's obviously tied to the website, but It's also a forum for all Second Life furs to feel open and welcome say they don't even care for the site but want a good SL forum which is fine by me. So I changed 'Fan Introductions' to just 'Introductions' I changed the 'relationship advice' to 'general chat' because we needed one of those and didn't need the other.

Other things that I'm going to move or remove is the 'back to yiffthis.com' thing at the top, and I'm going to create a different title text or image for the center of the header - but definitely keeping the rotating icons <3
