I sold my old Apple G5 tower on CL for only 800 bucks less than it was worth!  Remember how expensive those damn cheese-graters were?  Got my first PC on there too.<br>Hell I even got my current Job on Craigslist... and the personals &amp; rants and raves on that site are quite amusing sometimes.]]></content:encoded>

Put $1500 into it and let a geek friend do parts ordering and building.  Mostly Newegg and his employee discount at Microcenter.<br><br>4800 Series Radeon HD 1 gig<br>6 gigs of RAM designed to work best with i7<br>i7 Quad 2.66 Ghz<br>ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard<br>Silencer power supply (told him i want performance and quietness)<br>1 TB internal storage<br>2x320 GB internal RAID start-up<br>Alternative CPU cooler.<br>24" Acer flatscreen<br><br>It's getting to the point with video projects where I could use 6 Gigs more RAM, and maybe a 2 gig card or another 1 gig for future games.]]></content:encoded>
