Hey Cocoa Krad here to warm you up as i prepare to try to start-up another dance party.

The party will begin at 4pmSLT on Oct 20th! It will last till my tail falls off or my feet :XD

I'll be sending out a group shout to accounce when it begins it will be at the hangout as normal, so put on your best attire (or nothing at all) and come for a fun night as i play some tunes and we all get sweaty! :3:

:yay: Well I've just realized that most of the vids are pretty much one shot deals and stuff, and I wonder if anyone was thinking that it would be interesting if there were some "Series" of videos

well i have been hopping around the site a bit an i would love to post pics that i take -some naughty some not- an i came across an idea what if in our profiles page were we edit out profile are photo albums? with some kinda image code generators? like at the bottom of the picture there is some kinda generators that enables us to copy the link and past it on forums. i say this because i don't know where or how i can do it other wise, and considering that if we were allowed photo albums stalk-furs like me could view others photos :XD

2nd idea what about a chat room in the forums? one that's like in instance messenger kinda chat
it would be aswom!

well that's my ideas so don't eat me if they were bad! >.<

Suggestions for the Hangout

I thought it might me nice to see what peoples ideas and thoughts were about the Yiffthis hangout. Post any ideas or suggestions you may have for our little haven, mind you the size of our hang is limited, so no pools. My only suggestion is that we move that chair back! we got a floating cup and card where it use to be. besides from that we might want to add in a dance ball. you know how i like get a dance party going ^_^

Hello! Ive been watching yiffthis for along time ago. And I think they are AMAZING! The special effects! The camera view and the characters are remarkable!
But Cresil....
Dont you think the term Yiff This isn't just for male gay furries?
I think its for all kind of them! :yay: Gay, Lesbian, Straight yiff they are all the same! I think you should create another sections on the yiffthis.com videos like Gay Yiff/ Lesbian Yiff/Straight Yiff that would be really great, since alot of people want to watch not only males ^^ Im not a sexist by the way, I loved the all videos :3 I just think this website needs diversity in the species and yiff styles :D Good luck!

I've never listed all my little tasks.. and I know it's going to be staggering.
Ah might as well give you guys an idea really on how much I do for each video and why it takes 2-3 weeks given my little free time.
I've got to kill time as this new video uploads anyway! :yay:

In the order I do everything:

-Scout locations and animations / poses

-Select and schedule volunteers

-Sometimes meet with them 1 on 1 beforehand and inspect

-Shoot the video and take snapshots for the website

-Backup the typically 45 gigs of footage on my other hard drive

-Drop the footage in Vegas and crop out workable clips (this is the only boring part that makes me x.x sometimes)

-Spend at least half an hour finding the right music (I can't figure out music until after a video is shot really)

-Sequence the workable clips (the really fun part :D)

-Add transitions, clean things up and do the final render

-Upload the WMV

-Use downloadhelper to DL the converted MP4 version

-Upload the MP4 to Mhisani's server and Megaupload

-Photoshop the updated Header, new icons, the new hall of volunteer portraits and website splash image

-Write in the new code in hov.html, vi.html, videos_secondlife.html, box_newsfeed.html, and rss.xml

-Announce the video on the SL group (and the forum now)

-Eventually select out picture stills from the raw footage and run them through photoshop

-Upload the images and enter the new code for pics_highlights.html

I personally like how things around here look for the most part.

One idea I have is what I think causes unnecessary page length, all the info under your avatar, especially if your thread bump is only 1-2 scentences.

What do you guys think about the info such as Species, SL name, & orientation listed there instead of just your profile? I'm refraining from immediately changing stuff Sangie set up because if my users are enjoying the info accessibility then I'll be fine to leave it be!

Some suggestions to the filming process

I've been thinking few things that might help making the filming process bit more easier and pleasing to do for all the participants. Cannot say if these actually do work, but I thought to share my two cents on the subject:

Try to scout out suitable settings for the film before hand, and after finding idealistic place, bring in your volunteers and have bit of mindstorming about the possible scenes that the new movie will contain. Go through the possible poses, make needed adjustments and overall make sure everything seems to be fine 'n dandy on attachments, poses and settings. Once everything looks good, actors should save their adjusted attachments as new outfit, and the set & poses would be left alone until it's time to shoot. In short, prepare & practice before shooting the film.

It would be also kinda nice if the actors could get heads up who they're gonna be filming with, or even a possibility to pick from suitable candidates. I know that it's mostly director's choice to decide the partners and all that, but sometimes the actor's and director's opinions might clash together, or the selected individual ends up to be unreliable or difficult to work with. My experiences have been good so far, but I think it would help a lot if the candidates would have bit of time to get known to eachother and practice with the director, not to mention how ability to pick from multiple choices makes it more fun & interesting for the participants as well.

Nothing else I can come up with, and the videos so far have been pretty nice, so this isn't really a criticism or anything, just something I though that might help making the whole filming experience slightly better :3c
