Anyways, hello everyone! I'm Van Ishikawa, Van Iwashi on SL, one of your admins here at the YiffThis forums. Thanks for coming by! The Code Guru title wasn't my idea, but I feel that since you can't change your titles, I won't change mine :3
I found out about YiffThis (and a large portion of SL) from Sanguine, our main admin here. I'm a good friend of his and he wanted someone he could trust with any php/mySQL work that would need to be done with the boards. So far, I haven't much been needed, but I also offer some general admin experience and a bit of understanding on what makes a good forum and keeps members happy. Guess we'll see if I'm right!
Bit more about me: 20 year old wolf attending school in Virginia, working on my Software Engineering degree. First got into furries when I was about 15, taking a 2 year "break" from the fandom that ended earlier this year. I'm also an artist of sorts (I drew my avy! :D), FA page is heres. I don't claim to be awesome, but I'm always getting better :3. Among other things, I play bass, enjoy WoW, love metal music, and have an unhealthy relationship with General Tso's Chicken.
I have a small paranoia about posting real life info/pictures, so sadly you don't get to see the real me just yet. I'm always looking to meet some people, especially local furs, so don't be afraid to chat me up 🙂 Hope I can make your time here enjoyable!
