It's a fun experience the first few times ^^ especially if you have zero idea what they look like, scary but exciting kind of.
I think I'm around 5 not including run-ins at cons.
One of them lives like a block from my work! :p
Most of them have been people I met in the Malamutopia sim, (now Mikazi I think)
That place was like my old SL home, really nostalgic. Ahh.. wish It didn't all change!
There are a couple more who have been really awesome friends I really want to meet up with but they live so far away and are moving out of the country soon.... hmm eventually we'll make it work I think.
One person so far - my mate.
The second person I know is an old friend of mine from school years, but he started SL after seeing it at my place, so this dfoesn't count 😀
If I wasn't living that far from everyone I meet ingame, might see more people probably.
I've only ever met my 2 ex-owners and current mate IRL through SL. I already knew what they looked like from exchanged photos and had talked to them through SL for quite a bit, which eventually over to Skype, but it still didn't exactly quench some underlying nervousness until actually getting together at last.
After being to several local furmeets, I know a whole lot more on SL after we exchanged names, but that's a different story. ^^
I've met one person. It's really crazy when you're on there and meet a guy who asks where you're from and then says "woah, me too!" But mostly I don't really get to know a lot of people on SL. Usually I just meet people elsewhere online and then go hang out on SL.
Only 3 sadly! Furries are already rare here in my region and much more Furries who go on SL. :03

Hmm.. if met PrinceXavier at anthrocon... hes quite i nice husky.. alot differnt then in SL. I also met a couple from second life, along with a old frined of my mate that lives in the area. So my count is about : 5
