What are you playing now?

I'm currently replaying through Pokemon Platinum. Have completed it twice already, just felt like doing it again XD

Just started castlevania: Portrait of ruin.

Damn, love all Castlevania games. It's the same old thing over and over again, but it never gets old...

I been playing the Penumbra games. I just finished the third one and am about to start again on Amensia. Also i been at some xbox games my friend let us have.. l4d2, bioshock2, gears... So im kept busy

I have fallen back in love with the Sims 2 for PC. I have all of the expansions XD And have hacked my game so much, my sims are now furry 🙂

Ok Ive just rented Plants vs Zombies. Probably the best popcap game out there. Hopefully by next week im going to playing l4d2 religously to get all the achievements and settle up my gamerscore with my steam one.

BFBC2, wow, eve online, SC2... yeah i game to much... lol

i played Silent Hill Origins got the ambassador, True ending, Stalker, Collector, And the UFO ending all in just two plays! :yay: i got the Telisa Riffle, Night Vision goggles and the Moon Gauntlets! now its a scarry game called Koun or somthing like that! i love scarry games but i scare easly. >.< fatal frame was tough on the scared bunny! all the Resident Evil games are my fav! :yay:

Dead Space -was scurry!! >.< -i jumped more the a bunny should!- , Resident Evil -0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Outbreak 1 & 2, Survivor PS1 & the PS2, -Chris and Weasker are totally hot!!, especially RE5 Weasker! really hot!! all dressed in leather!~ Fatal Frame 1 & 2. i want to get Shattered Memories but im too lazy. XP

Nothing has offered me the psychological horror that the Silent Hill games do. The games rarely scare you by throwing monsters at the screen, but if you do emerge yourself in the story and the feeling, it drains you completely. At least this is how I felt, when I finished the first SH game back in the days. Clock tower is another horror favorite of mine. Resident Evil became too much of an action game these days...I would say L4D is much scarier than RE now :/

And to be on-topic: Began Disciples III again to catch up with my mate 😀 (if he hasn't finished it yet....) and will probably replay again Vampire: the masquerade.

I still need to play Silent Hill, but I still swear by the Fatal Frame series for survival-horror. The first one had enemies who were a bit silly and over-the-top at times, but for the most part it's very subtle and immersive, relying more on getting you to scare yourself as you start to notice how much was slipping by you than on leaping things into your face. In other words, a lot like how Issashu describes Silent Hill, which of course really makes me want to try that.

Still working on FF XIII myself, but also playing Lord of the Rings Online now that it's free to play. Honestly, I'd say I like Dungeons and Dragons Online (another free Turbine MMO) more so far, but this is what my roommates are playing, and what's an MMO by yourself after all? Just wish they put more into the story and setting (shouldn't be hard, what with being set in one of the most detailed settings ever created...); as it is there's way too much grind between actual plot events, whereas in DDO each quest is kind of a stand-alone story or else fits into a sequential chain where the immediate next quest continues the story, so it comes off far less as grinding and more as exploring dungeons and uncovering plots (which I suppose is appropriate for a D&D-based MMO).

Ok, enough rambling from me; back to grinding. XD

And to be on-topic: Began Disciples III again to catch up with my mate (if he hasn't finished it yet....)
